We had a comfortable stay at a budget-friendly price. The private bedroom was spacious and clean, and we had access to two bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The neighborhood had a charming atmosphere and offered stunning views of the city. The guesthouse was located on top of the hill, providing a peaceful and tranquil setting.
Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the steep hill leading to the guesthouse and the boring neighborhood, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall positive experience. We recommend Guest House San Roque for its value, cleanliness, and pet-friendly policy.

I got great value for my money at this guest house. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The location was quiet and convenient, with a pizzeria and supermarket nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The morning meal could be improved with more variety.

The guesthouse is newly renovated and has modern amenities like fridges in rooms, safe, and foldable tables. Rooms and common spaces are clean and comfortable. the location is quiet and residential, with a beautiful view of the city. Although not convenient for party-goers, it's perfect for those who prefer a peaceful stay.
One downside is that the walk back to the guesthouse is long and steep, which could pose a challenge for people with mobility issues.

The price was unbelievable for what we got - a huge private bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and the view from the neighborhood was jaw-dropping! The secure front door made us feel safe and the walk into town was so charming. Only downside - not great for those with mobility issues. Highly recommended for a quiet and comfortable stay!

The free WiFi throughout the property was a lifesaver for a digital nomad like me. It was as fast and reliable as a cheetah racing through the savannah!
Moldy bathrooms.

We were thrilled to have the practical facilities such as fridges and safes in the room, modern showers, and foldable tables to make use of. the calm neighborhood was an excellent feature and the bus stop was not too far off. This made it convenient for us to explore other parts of the area during New Year's.
The location had a long walk uphill from the bus stop, which made it difficult to get to with our luggage. the description of the hotel could have been more comprehensive regarding the room amenities.

Great views and modern furniture! The walk from the town is quite sporty, but it's good exercise. The rooms are spacious and have a fridge which is a handy feature. We also found a fully equipped kitchen which was great. Our bed was comfortable and we could easily access Plaza Santa Ana from the hotel.
The uphill walk to get to the hotel can be tiring, especially if you have heavy bags. The top terrace was also not accessible to guests which was a shame since it was already in use.

Renovated to a high standard, modern rooms and facilities. Manager responsive. No-nonsense self check-in/out. Quite a sporty walk to attractions but I like that.
Who needs cleanliness anyway? Mold, hair, toothpaste splats, and dirty mops.

I had a great stay at Guest House San Roque. the double room I stayed in was very clean and comfortable. Although the main street was a bit noisy, the overall experience was fantastic. the kitchen was well equipped, and the staff did a good job of maintaining cleanliness. the second time I stayed, I had a different room, but it was equally clean and comfortable. Despite the bathrooms being located opposite my room, the noise during the night and morning was not a problem. Considering the value for money, I found the location to be convenient for walking to town, especially going down.
In case of any difficulty, taxis were readily available for just 5 euros a day. Cons: Nothing - everything was great!
